February Update!

Lots of updates this month, please check them all and add to your calendars!

Dues Are Due!

Dues are due in February. If you have not had a chance to pay, please bring $15 with you to this month's meeting. Or, for your convenience, you can pay here!

Squires Breakfast & Valentine Crafting February 17th, 7a-3p

We will be helping the Squires decorate the tables for this month's Squires breakfast. We will also man a hot cocoa station for $1 a cup. This will give us a great opportunity to make a little extra money, with which we can do more service. Hooray! There will also be tables set up to help the young (and young at heart ) craft Valentines for Children's Hospital Plano and St Joseph's Catholic Assisted Living in Oak Cliff. We will add these to the ones we will make at our monthly meeting. See the flyer attached for additional information. See the flyer, then sign up here!

General Meeting February 21th (not 14th)

If you look at your calendar, you'll see that our February meeting is on the 21st and not on the 14th! We wanted you to be able to celebrate Valentine's with your family or BFF! At this month's meeting, we will be crafting Valentines for Children's Hospital Plano as well as St Joseph's Catholic Assisted Living in Oak Cliff.

Deliver Valentine's to St. Joseph's February 23rd

Join us as we bring joy to the residents of St. Joseph's Catholic Assisted Living in Oak Cliff. We will meet at St. Francis at 8:30a for donuts before we caravan together. If you are already SE approved to drive or are willing to be SE approved, please let me know as soon as possible. More chaperones mean more joy for the residents of St. Joseph's!

Easter Egg Stuffing

We need you to make our Easter Eggstravaganza a success! Let's stuff 5000 eggs and make this year's event the biggest ever! Click here to see when and where you can help!

General Meeting March 21st

Marian Schultze, founder of Frisco Fastpacs, will tell her story about the Lenten journey that inspired her to take action. The collection this month will be for Frisco Fastpacs. Friday Fasting March 22nd

After Marian's talk on Thursday, all Roses will be encouraged to fast on Friday (for as long as they are able!) in solidarity with those who go without and journal about it.

Saturday March 23rd

The Squire Roses and their families will be packing on location for Frisco Fastpacs. More on this soon.

Rose Fish Fry, Stations and Campout April 12-13th

Mark your calendars- You won't want to miss it! We will have our own fish fry, Stations and campout in Sherman, TX. More information coming soon. Chaperones, we need you!

Easter Eggstravaganza April 28th

The date has changed! On Sunday, April 28th after the 11:30a Mass, the Roses will host the largest egg hunt St. Francis has seen. WE NEED ALL ROSES, ROSE COUNSELORS AND LADIES AUXILIARY FOR THIS ONE! We hope to add a bounce house, cotton candy and face painting to this year's event!

Former Roses Return and May Crowning

Let's welcome former Roses! Listen as they talk about keeping their faith alive once they leave home. After they share, we'll have our own May Crowning. Our alums will also help us (drum roll) award our service points winners!

Thanks to each one of you! You are helping to make this year a great success!
